Setting textfieldex input to "test" and trying to evaluate it.

(if layer[tag_yourself_input2].text == "test", trace('match'), trace('no match'));
never matches..

Traces mostly fine "does not break the line in log",
but will not evaluate no matter what.. I've tried process the value again with copy(), txtadd(), setting to a normal textfield html and backagain.. passing to javascript() and on to String() etc to get a normal value...
something happens to the value of .text that makes it useless for evaluating against.
