Congratulations for this release Klaus. The WebGL version is really smooth on Chrome!

One small "complaint". I noticed that it is still not possible to change the target XML file on the vtoureditor plugin. Any chance that the source code for vtoureditor may be included on a future bugfix release? I would gladly try to implement that feature.

Once again hats off for Mr Klaus, a really great update!! *thumbup* *thumbsup* *thumbup*

I love that stagescaling feature, an great solution for today's changing world of mobile plataforms, you beat it man!!

Now, just an observation, I tried the new corfu tour in safari 5.0.5 (6533.21.1) and it gives me a static image, some adjustment there is missing.

Cheers!

Luis

Thanx for going on Klaus !

I have a small problem with this new version and javascript call, when I click on a hotspot wich calls a js function it doesn't work anymore and there is no more control on the panorama ( I tried back with 1.8.15 and it's working)

hotspot exemple :

Source code

1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9
	<hotspot name="hs1"
	         url="quai.png"
	         keep="false"
	         ath="-70.50982694126091" atv="21.737603175303423"
	         edge="bottom"
	         crop="" ondowncrop="" onovercrop=""
	         visible="false"
		 onclick="looktohotspot(hs1,smooth(100,50,20));js(openShadowbox(http://360images.fr/360/quai_neons/centre.html, iframe, Théâtre le Quai, 350, 800));"
	         />

the panorama : http://www.360images.fr/articles/solutio…as-aeriens.html

the xml : http://www.360images.fr/360/drone/150m.xml

is it a bug or my code is wrong ?

Thanx !

Okay, I will add that now to the next bugfix release.

Windows or Mac?
I have installed and tested the old Safari 5.0.5 version on Windows now and it was working fine. I will try later also the Mac version.

Okay, this is a bug with the handling of invalid values in the looktohotspot() action.
The reaons is that your looktohotspot() call is wrong - the second parameter needs to be the target-fov value!
looktohotspot(hs1,smooth(100,50,20));
correct would be e.g.
looktohotspot(hs1, 60, smooth(100,50,20));

See:
http://krpano.com/docu/actions/#looktohotspot

The 'smooth(...)' as fov parameter results in an invalid fov value (NaN) and this causes an endless trying to zoom to that invalid value. The next release will have a checking for such invalid values to avoid this behavior.

Best regards,
Klaus

Thanks - I have fixed that now.
The problem was the old Safari/Webkit version - I have now added several workarounds so that it will work again, but even then I would recommend updating to at least Safari 5.1. At moment it is still possible to support that old Safari/Webkit version, but that might become more and more difficult in future versions.

Best regards,
Klaus

thank you very much Klaus for your workings. please can you put a link of DONATE. because you are working to update your system and we paid only one time for your works. If you will put a "DONATE" link or button i think so many user will use that.

A question: are you still looking for a solution of "distorted hotspots parent child problem"

Best Regards and Congratulatitions to you.

Hallo alle zusammen!
Ich habe einen Test durchgefuehrt. Ich habe die Taste "links" so zugedrueckt,
dass das Panorama sich staendig links drehte und habe das Niveau fps verfolgt.
Und das ist herausgekommen:

> krpano-1.0.8.15 = 45 fps
> krpano-1.16 = 29 fps

browser: Opera
cubesize: 2200

Das ist sehr schlimm, leider.
Hat noch jemand das bemerkt?

Looks great, I will test the WebGL function shortly. Was waiting for that for a long time!! Thanks a lot!!

Object movies for html5 not yet supported or didn't I read well?

Edit: works like a charm on Android standard browser!! And I really like the scrollarea plugin.

Thanks for the update! By the way, there are other good news that go very well with this krpano update: IE11 will support WebGL (http://winsupersite.com/windows-8/blue-s…l-support-ie-11)
