Nokia Lumia 820 - Krpano 1.16 - help

Hi
i have a client that is using nokia lumia 820 and he can't open the tour... he is receiving this error message:

FATAL ERROR:
tour.xml - xml parsing failed!

I checked that details of nokia lumia 820, flash is not supported, but it's compatible with html5.... i updated the viewer with krpano update tool to the last version 1.16 , but the error is still the same...

nokia lumia 820 use windows phone 8, with internet explorer 10...

i tested the tour with iphone4s and iphone5, ipad3 with iOS 6.1.3 and samsung tab2 with Android 4.1 and it works fine... just on this nokia lumia doesnt work... any suggestion?
i read that krpano 1.16 was compatibile with wp8 and with ie10 ...

Hi,

the same xml file was used for the other html5 devices?
And the xml file itself has no syntax errors?

The error message typical means that there are xml syntax errors.

What happens you open the xml directly in the browser?
On desktop and on the Lumia?

If there are xml syntax errors, please see this links:
http://krpano.com/docu/xml/syntaxrules/#top
http://krpano.com/docu/xml/syntaxrules/#errorchecking

Best regards,
Klaus

re

hi klaus!
the files are the same, but it works on desktop, android and ios. just on wp8 doesn't work. anyway it's not a problem of krpano 1.16 :

i found some errors with showerrors="true" logkey="true"

INFO: krpano 1.16 (build 2013-03-28)
INFO: Flashplayer WIN 11.6.602.180 PlugIn
INFO: SWFAddress Plugin: v1.2.6
INFO: Bitly Plugin: v1.2.6
ERROR: no parent "skin_thumb_null" found
WARNING: unknown action: zoomtospotsextent

i generated a tour using the multires droplet, and then i added the SWFAddress plugin. about the error, it's a problem of thumbs with the vtourskin.xml , i'm not able to fix it.

in swfaddress, instead of :

Source code

1
2
3
4
5
	<action name="activatepano">
		if (%2 == scene, loadscene(%1,null,KEEPBASE,BLEND(1)));
		if (%2 == xml, loadpano(%SWFPATH%/%1,null,KEEPBASE,BLEND(1)));
		wait(blend);
	</action>

i used this code:

Source code

1
2
3
4
	<action name="activatepano">
		loadscene(%1,null,KEEPALL,BLEND(1));
		wait(blend);
	</action>

Does the same tour work in Desktop IE10 with HTML5?

Maybe try using the MERGE flag instead of KEEPALL... but the problem itself sounds like if there is a xml or scene loading call that doesn't fit to the vtourskin events...

Klaus

re

hi klaus!

thanks for your support. i fixed the code, there was some mistakes...

my tests on windows7 with html5=prefere : ie10, chrome 26, safari 5.1.7 it works without any errors. with opera 12.14 i can test it only on flash and with flash i have no errors on all browsers.
now just on firefox 19 on html5 i received this error:

WARNING: unknown action: activatepano
ERROR: soundinterface - loading of sounds/sound0.mp3 failed!

why? the background sound start on all other kind of browsers, both on flash and html5. on firefox 19 with flash the sound start on first pano.

about Nokia Lumia 820 , windows phone 8 someone can test it please? i haven't it... and i can't use any wp8 emulator because it need windows8 that i don't have -.-

this is the link of the tour: http://www.sky360.it/hotel4/tour.html

thanks!
