Textfield border color mixes with background

Hi there,

There seems to be a problem on the textfield border: the color mixes with the background. For example, here the border should be blue: http://demo.digisfera.pt/krpano-stuff/textfield-borderalpha/

Hi,

this is unfortunately known a Flashplayer related limitation.

Internally it was necessary to draw the border on top of the background - otherwise there were holes and wrong overlappings between the background and the border (especially when using rounded edges).

And by drawing the alpha-transparent-border on the background the colors are mixing.

In the html5 version there wouldn't normally be such limitation, but there I'm actually simulating the Flash behavior to make Flash and HTML5 looking and working the same.

Best regards,
Klaus

That's annoying. I've had some issues with holes and wrong overlappings too before. Well, maybe if someone runs into this issue now they will find this thread. Still, it might be good to document this in the textfield plugin page.

With 'holes and wrong overlappings' I mean small pixel/subpixels-holes between the background-color and the border-color when using rounded edge...
Do you mean the same?

Best regards,
Klaus

Not with the rounded edge. It happened to me once when I tried using percentage-sized plugin elements. I don't remember the exact details of how it happened, since I managed to find a workaround. Sometimes there would be a empty pixel between the elements and other times they would be overlapping by 1px.
