XML

I work for a company that puts out a lot of virtual tours. I have written quite a bit of code into our XML file to modify the functionality of our tours.
Is there a way to use what I have modified as a template so that we don't have to paste the new code into each new xml file?

Sincerely,
Ben

Hi Ben,

you may want to take a look at the examples coming with krpano. There you´ll find the templates made by Klaus, which can easily be editet to fit your needs.

Best regards
Nupsi

XML

I did see the templates. I just didn't know if there was a way to tell the software to use a specific template when creating the tours. I'm totally good with creating my own template. I just wanted to be able to tell the software which template to use so that I'm not having to recreate the XML file for each tour.

Does this make sense?

Thanks,
Ben

Hi,

the krpano droplets are all just calling the kmakemultires tool - but each droplet with a different '.config' file.

The config files are containing all settings for generating the panos and paths to the html- and xml-template files.
e.g. see especially the xmltemplate and xmltemplate_additional_file settings:
http://krpano.com/tools/kmakemultires/config/#xmltemplate

So either edit the existing config/template files or create your own droplet/config/templates files and setup there everything.

e.g. see here for how-to create an own droplet:
http://krpano.com/tools/droplets/#owndroplets

Best regards,
Klaus

Ben,
I'm looking for a person that can move a few things around in the xml, put in a few pop-ups, a textbox, and add/remove items from the bottom menu bar.

My goal is to get a working demo going and then paste the code in for each new tour that is created. Would you be interested in changing up the xml for me? How much would your services cost?
