Learn XML

Hi

Probably an unbelievably simple question, but what language is XML and where is the best place to start learning?

I can fiddle around, copying and pasting different elements from file to file. But I would like to understand it.

Where is the best resource to start? *g*

XML stands for extensible markup language.
The krpano documentation is a good place to start.

Hi,

the xml itself is only a 'data / transport' format for the krpano settings - that means after loading, internally in krpano there is no 'xml' anymore - there you work only with the data itself.

The first step to understand xml, might be to understand the xml-format and syntax itself.
Here the documentation about xml itself, it's syntax and rules:
http://krpano.com/docu/xml/syntaxrules/#top

The next step are the krpano settings, values in the xml and how they can be mapped and used dynamically in actions - for this part the normal xml/actions documentation and the examples should be the right start:

http://krpano.com/docu/actions/#top

Best regards,
Klaus
