"Merge|Keepview" on vtourskin

Hi,

this forum is fantastic

I want to keep the same view (fov and h, etc)
swiching from a scene to another scene in a virtual tour
and I have some problem setting the vtourskin.xml
in order to have this effect

Mybe someone can help me

Hi,

look in the vtourskin.xml for all loadscene calls and add there the KEEPVIEW flag,

e.g. change:
loadscene(.... , MERGE, ...);
to
loadscene(.... , MERGE|KEEPVIEW, ...);

I have just try the way, you give us in your post
but it does'nt works,
this the error:

Sorry, but that means you have not made the changes correctly...

Really only change MERGE to MERGE|KEEPVIEW - everything else should be unmodified!

I don't want to be boring, maybe is not so important...
but there are 4 "MERGE" in the vtourskin.xml file
I changed "MERGE" to "MERGE|KEEPVIEW"

> everything else should be unmodified!

Hi,

there are 5 MERGE in the vtourskin.xml and just adding KEEPVIEW can't cause an error.

Regarding the posted error messages it seems that the xml had got mixed up in several ways...
Which texteditor have you used to edit the vtourskin.xml file?

I use Dreamveawer MX
an old version in fact, but I had never noted that
it change the .xml code
