Messy onidle event, help!

Hello Klaus,

Since long time to date I've been having some troubles with the "onidle" event. I use it a lot to introduce a logo screen which work as a "screensaver", which works perfect for public places in combination with autorotation but, the issue is that in the latest krpano onidle event gets randomly activated when it shouldn't. For example, idletime is set to 60 seconds and:

1) I've just loaded the pano, I'm scrolling the image, 10 seconds go by and logo screen is shown.
2) I'm navigating some maps through bingmaps plugin and suddenly logo screen is shown.
3) I've been scrolling the pano with the mouse without releasing the button over a period longer than idletime, then even though I'm navigating the pano logo screen is shown.

I have been testing this a lot to detect exactly the patterns of activation for the onidle event but I haven't found them yet. In both examples below I've been having this issue:

http://imagen360.com/360/naturaleza/pano…ion-bcs-mexico/

It may happen to you it may not, it is apparently random. Hope you can check this because with this issue the onidle event is not completely functional.

Best regards

Luis

Hello again Klaus,

Didn't get your answer here but hope you can fix this issue for the next release of krpano. In the end I had to cancel all the work coded for ONIDLE event because it's not working properly and interferes with the inmersive experience constantly.

Best regards

Luis

Hi,

sorry, but I wasn't able to reproduce that yet...

Normally it should be impossible that the onidle event would be get dispatched before 'idletime' after the last user-interaction...

You wrote this happens only the latest krpano version - which krpano version were you using before - and does this happen in Flash or HTML5 or in both? And which Flashplayer version and which browser+version?

Best regards,
Klaus

I see,

I tested it in the last 1.16.3 version and there it wasn't working. I'll create a detailed example for you to look at this issue. For me the ONIDLE event is a great option to have at hand so I'm really interested in keeping it completely functional.

Best regards.

Luis
