Help with an event

Hi there!

I have to big beginner's question

1. I made an event with a onxmlcomplete to show a text, but it doesnt work on the .html, is there something else that i have to add to the code in order to work like in the editor or .swf?

2. As you can se on my vtour, i'm using flyout and flyback, but i would like to make the hotspot the whole car, i know that poligonal hotspot doesnt work in html5, but is there any other idea to make the image hotspot bigger?

this is my vtour http://www.toyotaxalapa.com.mx/vtourOK/tour_toyora.html
and only for the first question, here i show also the editor which shows correctly the event http://www.toyotaxalapa.com.mx/vtourOK/tour_edit.html

thank you very much :) !

1. you include vtourskin.xml which have definition of onxmlcomplete and I think there is the catch. Try to optimize code there or put your showtext in vtourskin.xml
2. See here

Hi!!

First thanks for the second answer, haha i haven't seen that post yet, sorry, and with the first point, I've already put my event on the skin.xml and the result is the same, I've even try to put an "onstart" on the scene, but the text still doesnt appear...

Check if you are viewing the HTML5 version (right click, krpano log, look into the html file for html5:"prefer").
In HTML5 the showtext() action isn't supported.

Hi Klaus,

In HTML5 the showtext() action isn't supported.

is there another possibility to show text while hovering elements in the html5 viewer?
would be glad if there existed an alternative! *smile*

kind regards,
Arion
