i think i found what causes the crash.

each time you do scrollbar_build(), there are several addplugin() actions.

with just removing the main scrollbar plugin, the dependent created plugins (barname etc..) remain, and there's an overflow or something

i made a try with cleaning every new plugin added within scrollbar_build(), and it seems to run pretty fine for now.

i can't really say because it happens only sometimes.

if it crash again i will tell you

Hi

It seems there's a bug with new 1.8.0.15 player.

the vertical scrollbar is horizontal and skin is in a bad shape.

ok found the bug:

every reference to plugin[scrollbar].type has to be changed to plugin[scrollbar].scrolltype or custom name, in calling xml and scrollbar.xml.

That is not a bug :)
I'm use attribute "type" in scrollbar tag, but now this attribute name reserved for plugin (image, container)
just rename all "type" attributes for "sbtype" for example. (in scrollbar.xml and in main tour.xml in scrollbar tag)
Then all will work

Auto hide scrollbar for dinamic insert text

Hi Andrey!

Wanted to know about your plugin.
And if the text in the block is little space and there is no need for a scroll bar. You can customize them to according to this display or hide?

ofcourse you can hide it.
Just check height of textfield and height of text stage, then hide or not

the scrollbar went insane when i updated to krpano 1.0.8.15

Did anyone else problems when u update krpano to 1.0.8.15
I just did this and a vertical scrollbar turned horizontal ... and the functionality is gone... the dragging still works

This happens because krpano 10815 has new plugin type attribute
scrollbar has type too
so, to fix it just replace all .type to .postype for example
I'm make corrected scrollbar.xml - contact me I will send you updated file

Is there a close window button?

Hi,

I just purchased this plugin and looking in the downloaded files realised the demo didn't have a 'close' button for the text window. Sorry, I just presumed there was one so that viewers can close the window and look at the 360 degree image behind it. I see that there is a 'Click here to Drag' which is nice.

Can you let me know please how I can make each scroll window have a small X on the top right to close the window. Probably to the right of 'Click here to Drag'.

Many thanks for creating this plugin. It will save me loads of time being able to just update the text in the xml file rather than having to create a new image plugin.

Also, why is this plugin hard to find on the KRPano site. You need to advertise it better and make more money ;-)

Hi Andrey,

Has this plugin stopped on the development side or does it automatically work in all new versions of KRPano? I've haven't yet updated to 1.17 as will wait until bugs are sorted but I was hoping to use this plugin on my next project.

The file I have is scrollbar_xml_plugin.zip and that was on the 24th July 13. The MyCommerce Digital River download link has now expired so not too sure where to get updates from.
