Loading tiles from another server HTML5

Loading tiles from another server then the tour is on seems to be very tricky with HTML5 viewer, works fine in flash.

For example I would like to use Amazon S3/CloudFront for my tiles as I have always done, now updating to HTML5 tiles I am not able to get anything to work.

I get, ERROR: loading (url to tiles)

I have tried all kinds of things regarding CORS but to no avail.

Any recommendations to Amazon S3/CloudFront settings to get this to work?

P.s. It works fine in Internet Explorer, but any other browser desktop or mobile does not work.

I seem to have managed to get Amazon S3 and CloudFront working.

First set your bucket to Enable website hosting under Static Website Hosting

Then add this to your Edit CORS Configuration under Permissions

Zitat

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<CORSConfiguration xmlns="http://s3.amazonaws.com/doc/2006-03-01/">
<CORSRule>
<AllowedOrigin>*</AllowedOrigin>
<AllowedMethod>GET</AllowedMethod>
<AllowedHeader>Authorization</AllowedHeader>

<ExposeHeader>x-amz-server-side-encryption</ExposeHeader>
<ExposeHeader>x-amz-request-id</ExposeHeader>
<ExposeHeader>x-amz-id-2</ExposeHeader></CORSRule>
</CORSConfiguration>

As well for Flash support you might want to add crossdomain.xml file in the root of the folder as well with this in it.

Zitat

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "http://www.adobe.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
<cross-domain-policy>
<site-control permitted-cross-domain-policies="master-only"/>
<allow-access-from domain="*"/>
<allow-http-request-headers-from domain="*" headers="SOAPAction"/>
</cross-domain-policy>

I hope this helps for other people wanting to use Amazon S3

Same here and frustrated.

Also using the latest version of KRpano which is having better HTML support.
