Editor plugin strange behaviour

Hi!

Today I've stumbled upon a strange behaviour of the Editor plugin. Normally, after I moved the hotspots and pressed "xml" button, it shows a generated xml on the white background and scrollsliders in its right and bottom parts. However today it became totally messy (see the attached printscreen picture).

Has anybody seen that before?

I suspect there's some connection between whether the xml is big or small, as it obviously takes various time for the Editor to generate various xmls.

Hi,

that's strange indeed!
I looks like a Flashplayer script crash...

You can please try using the Debugger Flashplayer.
Then you should get an error message from the Flashplayer in this case. This error message would be interesting to know.

Best regards,
Klaus

I had it many times in the past when using not the same version of editor and viewer. Maybe there is some glitches. If so easy to update to new version.

Umalo, that was the first thought I had on seeing that strange behaviour, and checked the editor's version, but it's 1.16.6.

I opened the tour in Flashplayer debugger, as Klaus suggested and got the error (see the attached screenshot).

Hi,

okay, that means the xml-syntax colorizing is the problem here - it needs more than 15 seconds in this case - and therefore the whole script got stopped by the Flashplayer, which results in that unfinished stuff...

I'm already working on editor plugin alternatives but I will look it that can be improved a bit...

Best regards,
Klaus

Hi,
I confirm the same bug on my Mac OS X 10.8.5, and the last version of KRPano.
On my last editing with hundred hotspots this behavior took place in about 50 % of the cases.
Best regards, Hub
