hotspot onhover in iPad?

Hi

http://john-law.net/projects/passage/

In this pano I have hotspots that show a message when rolled over and an image when clicked on. This is fine on desktop but the onhover message does not show on iPad. This is what I used - is there any improvement to make both work on iPad?

<hotspot name="face-spot"
url="face.png"
distorted="1"
ath="53"
atv="-5.8"
scale="0.27"
rx="2" ry="0" rz="0"
zorder="1"
onhover="showtext(A 'flâneur' if ever I saw one!);"
onclick="set(hotspot[muff-spot].visible,1);"
/>

<hotspot name="muff-spot"
url="muffat-txt.png"
distorted="0"
keep="1"
visible="0"
ath="53"
atv="-20"
scale="0.3"
rx="0" ry="0" rz="0"
zorder="2"
onclick="set(hotspot[muff-spot].visible,0);"
/>

Many thanks

How do you want to hover on ipad?
Not possible offcourse so you or just leave it as it is or define exactly what you want to happen.. and concentrate on quite a lot nasty stiching errors, and may be make the hotspot better visible for ipad at least?

jl-krp, you have a shift when applied hotspot, maybe it's the result of improper use of the parameter
distorted="1"
This parameter can be true or false

Tuur
As the iPad can sense my finger and my tap, I thought it reasonable to be able to 'mouseover' or 'hover' etc. as well as click. I'll tidy up the - clearly distracting to some - stitching errors but for me the story took priority. Didn't you find that interesting?

Taurus
I thought true or false = 1 or 0

Hi Tuur
Thanks for the suggestions but they do not work.
I'll delve a bit and see what, if anything, does.

ps
Have you got the KRP testing server to work with 'pads?

glass roof repairs

Hi Tuur
Roof duly repaired, an interesting task.
Now you can have a literary look in the Pano Passage without distractions.
