embedding my krpano into a web\forum page?

Hi guys

Is it possible to......

A) embed my pano sequences into public forums i use (like i can with YouTube using their 'share - embed' sequence of code you can just copy and paste)

b) embed into my own web site.

I'm sure it is, and have looked at the various documentations here, but find it like double dutch *tongue*

So, is there an EASY solution? a quick copy and paste set of code i can use? nothing i need rocket science to figure out? (hence posting in the 'Beginners Questions' forum)

thanks

Hi,

before you can embed a pano anywhere, you first need to upload on your webspace of course.

Then you could e.g. use an <iframe> (when available) with the url to your webspace+pano to embed the pano into an other page.

Best regards,
Klaus

So what code would i need to embed that into a forum page or web page?

Thanks

Hi,

simply use an iframe - that's standard html code and not related to krpano - e.g.

Source code

1
<iframe src="http://sjleworthy.com/cic/finess/vtour/finess.html" width="640" height="400" frameborder="0" seamless="seamless" allowfullscreen="true" mozallowfullscreen="true" webkitallowfullscreen="true" style="border:1px solid #8da4b7;"></iframe>

But note - not every forum software is allowing using iframes in posts - e.g. in the krpano forum using iframes is not allowed by default, only I as forum administrator can use it.

E.g. here your pano embedded here via iframe:

Best regards,
Klaus

ooo, thanks Klaus, that looks dandy. i will try.

is that method easily transferable to my own web site? do i need any extra coding involved?

and, is there an easy alternative if the forum in question doesnt allow iframes? like the youtube quick embedding method?
