HTML5 1.17 final release date?

Hello Klaus,

The time limited pre-release version of the new HTML5 player expires on 31.10.13 - Will there be a final version in time? I don't want to promise multires on ipad to clients just for this period.

Yours,
Michael

Yeas I really also want to know.
I am visiting a client 1 nov and I was hoping I could have brought him my last 2 projects for him in multiresolution iPad versions.

Hi,

there will no final version after 31.10. but a new pre-release with an extended expire date.
But I will provide a version without expire-date as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Klaus

I'm sad that the latest version doesn't fix ios 7 safari ipad landscape height. *cry*

start in landscape panorama too tall
start in portrait ok, switch to landscape bad, switch to portrait bad

What do you mean? *confused*
That was already fixed in 1.16.7 (and in the old 1.17 too) and was working fine...

The 1.16.9 and the new 1.17 fixes now also the landscape problem on the iPhone when the browser controls were shown.

Ah I see. it works at 100% and my own tours work.

I have one tour with an html header and its off. I will PM a link to it.
It may be my fault. I have some resizing going on myself. ... debugging.

Right, the automatic iOS7 fixes are only working when the krpano viewer was directly embedded on the whole page with 100% width and height. The viewer resizes itself and scrolls the page to correct that iOS7 Safari bugs and that's only possible in this case - the viewer can't correct a surrounding webpage.

Best regards,
Klaus

so, there is still expire date? On the website there is no information about expire date, but on panorama still displays the expire date 31.12.2013.
I working on a project that begs for multiresolution on the iPhone... so how is it? krpano HTML5 Multiresolution Preview will stop working on first of January, or not ? :)

This version will stop at 2013-12-31
there will be a new prerelease then or a 'final version.

So you have to update at that time anyway, which will take you aprox 2 minutes.

hope it helps

It will probably take up a certain amount of time if an unlimited version will released. I also hope that "as soon as possible" means a very promptly unlimited release.
