extraordinary vt from canal +

hi, can some one explain how it is possible this virtual tour (it's html5 compatible)? what are the principles to realize this kind of beautifull vt? my preferite features: the boy in the backgroun move when they enter the field of view. is it a loop video?

Hi,

about the 'video' objects there - these no real videos, these are just images (probably because there is no html5 video format with alpha channel and for having better control).

E.g. see here one image from there:
http://lesrevenants.canalplus.fr/images/…airie/julie.png

The principle is the same like the animated hotspots examples - a script loops through the frames and the current frame will be cut-out by the crop setting.

Everything else is clever scripting and great design!

Best regards,
Klaus

That site wasn't made by me, so I don't think is okay to deconstruct it...

in the pano the synchronism of audio and girls image are very great. so to get this perfection i think that are necessary a lot of image.

i think that the images that you linked me are for the movement after the girl has spoken.

i'm trying to build a strip of images and i discover that total height of strip image has max value (about 47300 pixel). if we super it we'll not see anything. is there someone that can confirm these? moreover is there a limit for the width?

is there any example of this type of animation to sprite (squared)
I tried but only managed to work vertically or horizontally, forming the crop goes all the sprite?

the concept is the same of animated hotspot.
