Adding additional layers to xml

Hi, I am sure this is a pretty simple question. I am trying to add an additional image to my VT. I already have a Skin logo

<layer name="skin_logo" url="logosmall.jpg" scale="1.00" align="lefttop" onclick=........... />

I have tried adding another logo and just calling it skin_logo2 but it does not seem to work, what am I missing?

<layer name="skin_logo2" url="teamstarlogosmall.jpg" scale="1.00" align="righttop" onclick.............. />

Any help as always appreciated.
