Can I create now a flat multires pano for iPad ?

Hi.
I tried the HTML5 Multires viewer for a flat panorama but it not works in my iPad.
I downloaded the krpano 1.17 HTML5 Viewer (krpanoiphone.js) with the krpano Tools 1.16.9. I generated a cubic multires pano and it works in the iPad. I generated a flat multires pano and it not works with the iPad.
I readed that 1.17 html5 viewer supports falt panoramas in iPad.
What am I doing wrong?
When will the final release of 1.17 krpano online?

Can you post your xml you are using for the flat panorama, there are probably couple of things you need to change.

Flat multi res panos work for my iPad. I remember I had to follow the instructions very carefully to get it to work.

Hi,

yes, flat panos are supported in html5 yet, but the old tools are not aware about that and therefore the xml and the html5 might need to be adjusted slightly:

  1. in the xml file look for devices="flash" setting on flat pano <scene> - and remove them

  2. and in the html file look for the html5 embedding setting - the tools will write here html5=never when there is only a flat pano in the output - change it to html5=prefer
