user to change hotspot's color from .js Colorpicker

Hi

I found this js that enables the user to choose an RGB color, is it possible to embed this js in krpano tour and send order to krpano to change certain hotspot's color?

http://rightjs.org/ui/colorpicker/demo

Moreover, can I make this hotspot scalable and dragable? and have krpano save the new hotspot?

Thank you in advanced

Hi,

no, that's not possible, the hotspot itself is just an image - look into the skin folder for the 'vtourskin_hotspot.png' file.
Moreover, can I make this hotspot scalable and dragable? and have krpano save the new hotspot?
There are several ways to make that (scaling, dragging), please look at the included 'dragable-hotspots' example.
Regarding saving - saving would needs some kind of special (server-side) custom interface.

Best regards,
Klaus

Hi
thank you for your reply

Back in FPP there was an option in the editor.swf to fill the image hotspot with a tint color, isn't that possible in KRpano on the simple level, if it is, there must be a way for the "colorpicker" to send a command to KRpano to change the tint color.

Hi,

no, there is no native support in krpano for tinting images.

It might be possible to extend krpano with such functionality by a custom Flash plugin which would apply a ColorMatrixFilter to the plugin sprite, but than that would be still Flash-only. There is currently no cross-browser feature for such in HTML5, and regarding rendering-performance it might be also not optimal...
