panorama resolution

I have just set up my first panorama. The original image is very clear(hi res TIF) but when I view it through Krpano this resolution seems to be lost and the rather fuzzy. Is there a way of maximising the resolution of the image?

Thanks

Hi,
First try this. Check settings for view mode of panorama:
<scene name=".....>
<view hlookat="xxx" ..... maxpixelzoom="2.0" ..... />

This means that allowed zooming in x 2 times more than the original image!(after droplet(normal...) resizing of sides of cube (default 2048 for desktop!))
Replace to: megapixel zoom="1.0" , and its work without scaling out range of size//
*tongue*

Hi,

were you using a NORMAL or a MULTIRES droplet?

The maximum size of a cubeface is limited to 2048px by default in the NORMAL droplets. That means larger images will get down-sampled in this case.

When using the MULTIRES droplets there will be no size limit.
