beginner question from someone who may buy the license

I have used the demo download and have created a pano which I can view in chrome on my laptop. How do I give urls or viewable panos to a client for integration into his website? I tried opening the url on another computer but it did not work. I am not a techie, hence the question. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

all files that will be generated by the droplets need to be uploaded to a webspace. And to show the pano/tour link to the .html file.

E.g. when using the MAKE VTOUR droplet, upload the whole 'vtour' folder and then link to the 'tour.html' inside that folder.

Best regards,
Klaus

Thanks Klaus. I am a photographer and not a website designer so even that answer was technical for me!

What do you mean by uploading the whole folder. Where does it have to be uploaded to - the website where the tours will reside? The customer I am talking about has properties on his website, each with 2-4 tours. Will he have to 'load each tour folder onto his website somehow - this sounds time consuming for lots of properties? I guess I need to ask a website developer friend how you then link the folder to the 'tour.html' whatever that means....

Kind regards
Duncan

Hi,

sorry, but krpano is a web-tool, so knowing some very basic web terms like 'uploading' or 'webspace' is really required to use it...

When someone wants to view something on the web, then this content need to be uploaded to the 'web', that's normal.

Best regards,
Klaus

Thanks Klaus,

Appreciate your responses. I know these terms! However, I am trying t figure out how I can prepare a 360 from your software for a client and send them something to insert in the right place in their website. When I create a pano using the NORMAL drop it creates 4 files - chrome html, jscript, shockwave flash and xml doc. The chrome file opens onto the web, but the url it creates will not open on a 2nd computer. I am trying to understand what needs to happen for a website viewer to see the pano on my clients website. What does he need to do with the 4 files I create for each of his panos, and how much work is involved for him or me to do this for each pano. If this solution is easy enough for me to use, I will then be buying the license immediately.

Thanks for your continued asssitance.
Duncan

Unfortunately, Klaus is rights(he is always right! *tongue* ), you should have though the slightest knowledge about HTML ... otherwise we will not help you! it's hard to explain in one post) And in the future you'll go into a deep impasse without this knowledge
In another case, send the whole folder with your tour to customer and their webmaster will understand how insert tour or panorama in website.
And advise for webmasters how insert the virtual tour on the website see this documentation by Klaus:

Good luck!
