editor in version 1.17

Hello all,

Recently I downloaded the latest version and I got some questions...
Here is one :-)

I want to put my video into a television.
In the past this was easy and done in a couple of minutes by using the editor plugin.
But today I'm breaking my head... *cry*

This is the test : http://vanbelleb3d.be/krpano/video_embed/salon.html
The xml code is : http://vanbelleb3d.be/krpano/video_embed/salon.xml

The editor plugin doesn't show up.. Not offline, not online.. *confused*
What did I do wrong ..? *blink*

So I did a second test. *cool*
I've created a 'tour' using the MAKE VTOUR (NORMAL) droplet.
Now I have a tour.html and a tour_editor.html. I've inserted the editor plugin (in the tour.xml code).
The result is :

tour.html
Off and online the video is playing but I can't see the editor plugin *angry*

tour_editor.html
Offline we have an ERROR: unable to open video - woon.mp4 *question*
Online, ok here is works...

a. Does this mean we only can use the editor plugin online ...?
b. Can someone tell me why the editor doesn't show up off and online in my first example ..?

Thanks a ton !!

Hi,

the Editor plugin is a Flash-only plugin.

To be able to use it, the Flash-version need to be viewed, e.g. here by using html5=auto:
http://vanbelleb3d.be/krpano/video_embed…tml?html5=auto:

To know which version you are currently viewing, use the right-click context menu - when there is the text 'Flashplayer' the Flash version will be used - but when there is the browser name, then HTML5 will be used.

Best regards,
Klaus

Hello again,

It worked *smile* almost... *cry*

When I change html5:"prefer" into html5:"auto" I can work with the editor offline indeed.

But problem is that my movie won't load :-(
ERROR: unable to open video - woonerf.mp4
(it does load when html5 is eprefer")

I tried, mp4, m4v, fly, ... but no succes..

Is there a last magic trick ... ? *w00t*

Thanks !

Hi,

is the path correct?
The Flashplayer has a special need here - the path to the video file need to be relative to the main swf file.

Best regards,
Klaus

Hello Klaus,

Since yesterday I work with Firefox and here all works well.
So I guess the path is correct.
(video files, main .swf and video player.swf + .jr are in the same folder)

The problem seems to be Safari... (I use(d) 7.0.3)

interesting update.

It does work on Safari 6.0.5 (Mac OS 10.8.4)

That's before the update to Mac OS 10.9) -> Safari 7.0.3

Greetz.
