Ipad crash when rotating

My ipad air has a big problem. Safari crashes when rotating it. Either at turning 90 degrees to vertical or when turning back again.
Apparently this is the way Safari does it. Chrome almost never crashes.

I also tested same on my iPad 3 which I still have on IOS 6 and there is no problem.

i assume there is no solution for this, or is it possible to lock the page to horisontal or vertical in the Html.?

Hi,

Safari crashes are mostly related to memory usage (or iOS/Safari bugs).

Maybe the example itself is already hardly on the memory-limits and the additional memory need for rendering a rotated screen is already too much...
Eventually try reducing the example (smaller and/or fewer images...).

Locking the page rotation would be nice, but is not possible.

Best regards,
Klaus
