HTML5 Lensflare

Really liked this feature in the Flash version... would love to see it reappear for HTML5.

Hi,

already in work, but it will be only available when also WebGL will be available.
Without WebGL this is technically currently not possible (there is no blendmode=add like functionality for HTML DOM elements).

Best regards,
Klaus

Fantastic!

Just read through the thread about WebGL and iOS 8 beta yesterday. Looking forward to the next update. Great work!

PS: Will work with multi-res panos?

Yes, it doesn't matter for the lensflares if the pano is a multires or a normal one.

Klaus, do you really need WebGL to make flare in HTML5. In Flash version you have used krpano_default_flares.jpg and blendmode (I suppose). What about using simple PNG file wih 8-bit transparency channel?

Lensflares require ADDITIVE blending and that's currently not available without WebGL.

Thanks jordi

Files are encrypted with the public key (except lensflaresettings.xml). Everything is prepared that there is no need to change anything in the source code.

best regards,
Piotr
