MAKE VTOUR (MULTIRES) droplet(1.17.4) on mobile dont get right

hi!
i use MAKE VTOUR (MULTIRES) droplet.bat to make a standard vtour,and did not change anything! include tour.xml and tour.html.

but on my andriod cellphone,sth go wrong!

it seems krpano loading two type pic(level and mobile),




and with 1.16.9 no wrong!! very good!

Hi,

The problem is the extremely(!!!) buggy 'CSS 3D transform support' from the old (and very outdated) Android Webkit engine, which is still used by the stock Android browsers on some devices. With that buggy Android Webkit engine multires support is absolutely impossible.

Better Android devices support at least WebGL in the stock browser, there the CSS3D bugs can be avoided by using WebGL.
And with Android 4.4, Google has finally removed the old Android WebView and replaced it with a modern Chromium WebView, there this problem doesn't happen too anymore.

But in the next krpano version (1.18) the support these browsers will be slightly improved anyway - there the usage of multires will be automatically disabled and the mobile/tablet images be used.
