Krpano not working on UAT server

Hello all

we are using KRPano player to show Virtual tour and implimented successfully in local environment.

However on staging it is not working and even it is not showing any errors in output.

Can any one look into above URL and suggest what is required in this?

Open log and you will see some errors you should focus on. There are several threads on that topic so search a little bit.

I am not able to see the log files of Krpano. where it lies?

Please share the forum thread in which it is already discussed.

We are using AWS Cloud front.. is this relates to it?

I believe it is AWS CDN configuration issue.... If someone have already configured it and then please share it.

Hi,

basically this has nothing todo with krpano directly - that's are the Flashplayer cross domain restrictions.

In your case - your are trying to load https files from http - and for this case you would need to add secure=false in the crossdomain.xml file here:
https://d3k2e6lkbl08ke.cloudfront.net/crossdomain.xml

See here:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AS2LCR/Flash…t=00000469.html

Or simply call your page also with https:

Two things in which I am still confused even it is working for me.

1. Flash is requesting the crossdomain.xml file of requested domain but why in this case it is trying to fetch the file from content location. i.e instead of fetching policy file from uat.iceportal.com it is fetching it from Cloud bucket.

2. Flash is not loading with secure protocol then why in policy file it is required to add secure = false? It was not the case with our previous release.

Hi,
Flash is requesting the crossdomain.xml file of requested domain but why in this case it is trying to fetch the file from content location. i.e instead of fetching policy file from uat.iceportal.com it is fetching it from Cloud bucket.
This is how the Flashplayer is working - it loods the crossdomain.xml from the other server to see if it's allowed to load files from there. That behavior is given from the Flashplayer itself and not adjustable by krpano.

2. Flash is not loading with secure protocol then why in policy file it is required to add secure = false? It was not the case with our previous release.
It's not possible that this behavior would differ between different krpano releases - that's all given from the Flashplayer and was always the same.

For details about the crossdomain.xml itself and the secure option, please see here:

Klaus
