Two newbie terminology questions

What does the 'state' attribute of a 'layer' mean e.g. state="closed"? What are the other options?
What does 'ondown2' mean and how is it different from 'ondown'?
I have searched the documentation and not found the answers
Thanks

Are you saying these are user-defined terms?

I can't do anything I like until I can figure it out!

Hi,

yes, these 'stage' and 'ondown2' attributes are custom-defined attributes and don't have any meaning to the viewer itself. That they will be do depends only on the xml code of the example.
