How to Enable Right-Click Optional View Modes

Hello Everyone,

How do I enable optional viewing modes in Flash viewer? I'd like the user to be able to view "fisheye" and "panini" etc -- via right-click.

I enabled the Editor-Options, toggled TRUE the various views and then generated an xml file -- but it didn't work.

Thanks!

Best,
-Michael

Hi,

the right-click items were defined the <contextmenu> element:
http://krpano.com/docu/xml/#contextmenu

and the different projections by custom action that are changing the view settings.

Please look at the included 'projections-contextmenu' example for details.

Best aregards,
Klaus

Thanks Klaus -- I did not see that folder at first.

However, I tried copy/pasting the XML code from the example and it does not appear correctly and is missing some of the various projection types.

See attached image for a look at what my result is...

Thanks!

-Michael

Also, when I check in other browsers, like Chrome on Mac, the menu appears twice.

See attached.

Thanks for your help.

Best,
-Michael

Hi!
Perhaps you pasted it into the wrong file or wrong section?
Take a look at skin/vtourskin.xml and search for "contextmenu".
That sould be the right place to expand your views.

Hi,
missing some of the various projection types.
Projections with non-linear distortions like Fisheye, Stereographic are only possible with Flash or with HTML5 when WebGL is available. Just with CSS3D as available rendering technology like in your Safari screenshot, these projections are not possible.

In the xml the declarations of these <contextmenu> items have devices settings to exclude them for not supported cases.

the menu appears twice.
Then you have included TWO different <contextmenu> elements in your xml files.

Btw - just as note - in this screenhot you are using/viewing the Flash version. Always keep on eye on what you are viewing - because there are some differences between Flash and HTML5.

Regarding Flash and HTML5 please see also here:

Best regards,
Klaus

Thanks everyone -- clearly, I have much to learn!

Are there any video tutorials on how to do a simple deployment of a single pano for mobile devices and computers?
