Hi,

I can imagine that you have a project that you want to show to people, but at some people only.
In holland we say:' niet voor pottekijkers' (like 'eyes only')
i made this simple password protection.

In this case it is 4 piece 'pass code'.

That' is a good idea Tuur and as you say would be handy for showing clients projects/demos that you've put up on your own hosting and gives it a professional look. Would look good with the the preview image visible in the background (or any 'blurred' image) and then upon access it blends into the real thing.

Hm, challenge accepted as you challenged us. Otherwise this could be not right to hack others code, right?
Do we have to tell it or we can go like this: (PASS) HEX -> DEC + 571042 = layer[codetext].backgroundcolor
Nice improvements in v2...please continue.....

Edit: Yes, I would like to use it if you will allow us. If not that I can give (trade) you my solution which is nice if you want to deploy with no protection but to have backdoor which can be customized to start any action you want. Pass is 4 digits defined by you.... Just type them and your secret actions are started. Maybe you want to have log to be displayed with information you would need when something happen or what ever you want.

The idea is to share it for free... Open source, so you can do what you want...
So you can set your own password, use your own graphics etc etc..
Maybe i make a database service which provide you a html5 plugin download for free witn specific password or so..
I need some time to investigate..
Or maybe also i put in the plugin bundle i am building, as an extra.
But first i want to enjoy and learn a bit *thumbsup*

which i LOVE
I agree i'm not the best graphic designer..

Keep in mind the basics..
I create a string with txtadd for the numbers pressed.
When is same as password .... Go

Password = 4 digits... a sphere we shoot we also call a ....

Can I add from code after PTP publish if it doesn't work with PTP as plugin?
I can't buy it right now. sales page is closed. I'm waiting for the update urgently. Paypal does not work in my country. Please provide a good means of payment.

Also, I use the side menu plugin for PTP. I read all the questions and answers one by one. I think encryption is enabled with the hotspot. Is it possible to set scene specific protection and different passwords? I'm not interested in hostpot. I can't let them open a scene that should be kept secret from the menu.

I don't do/have ptp but i would guess yes..i don't care actually.
But it is not available at the moment..
To use it ( as it was) it needs also extra coding in your project.
