no, i actually mean:

Source code

1
2
3
4
5
6
if(vtmh_tpoint GE 8,
    if(vtmh_tpoint LE 20,
        set(hotspot[trackinghtsp_1].url, skin/villa_1.png);
        set(hotspot[trackinghtsp_1].ondown, plugin[video1].pause();openurl(http://www.krpano.com,_blank));
    );
);

That only works online off course.
you can also open the log (press O) to see that is happening but doesn't work offline.

Hope it helps

Pop ups in Video

Hi Tuur, I have made some progress. If you click on the first Villa png it takes you to a VT.

www.nerjaholidayrental.com/vt360/

Got loads of ideas for this sort of thing but until the video player is supported in Andriod devices I guess I have to wait *cry*

Hi Tuur,

Thanks for your great work, shall study for doc and try on my video. I saw a moving video hotspot in loop-in.com/galerie/ but their plugin was not open to public or for sale. When will be the final version ready? thx

update:

i just managed to change the set up and now we can give every timeline his own tracking speed.
And i tested succesfully in a 1 video project.

I will now test a tour project.

For example:

imagine you have a tour with also 3x 360 video in it. (in 3 different scenes)
Now you can use for example timeline 1 and 2 in the first video for masking or just 2x tracking. 3-4-5 in the second for 3x high speed tracking .. and 6-7 in the thirth.
Or all in video 1 .. what ever.

when successful, i think it is ready for a first release.
*love*

edit: Yesssss succesfull

stay tuned!

Yesssss the 'plugin' is available.
Have a look here.
http://www.krpano.com/plugins/userplugins/movinghotspots/

I am working on this release video. This will come this week. I'll post it here.

One note!
There is a difference with the trial version that could confuse you the first time.
I took the player OUT of the editor.
So when you generate keyframes… copy them in the timelines of the PLAYER.. which could also be your project!

Have fun, enjoy and please come to this thread for specific questions

How can change the width and height of your custom videoplayer

Hi,

Could you please tell me how can i change the width and height of your custom videoplayer?

With your custom videoplayer, it's always show with 100% height and 100% width of the browser's screen.

Normally, I can do directly set width and height attribute on the <layer /> tag as the code below.

<plugin name="video_party"
url="videoplayer.swf"
alturl="videoplayer.js"
videourl="video.mp4"
posterurl="videoposter.jpg"
align="center" x="0" y="0"
width="200"
height="300"

/>

P/S: The attached image is what i would like to do. Video on the Top and Map on the bottom.

Thanks and best regards
can has attached the following image:

Hi,

It is not a custom video player.
The thing is that this is a way to place moving hotspots in 360video.

What you are doing now, or want to do you should do with just the normal video plugin of krpano.
(Which is the same but used different)

The way it is set up it uses the 360video as a canvas.
Look in the 'scene'.

I suppose the video in your case is a flat video.
Look on the plugin page to set it up.

Maybe use div's for the split screen thing with the map or put the map over the cideo.

Hi,

I made a rudimental 360video tour with moving hotspots etc.. It is a tech example! for html5/webGL
http://www.virtualtuur.com/movinghotspots2/tour1/

only tested in old ipad and desktop yet.

I will start soon updating the editor part of the plugin/procedure as well.
people that have the plugin already will get an free update soon.
First the player, and when the editor is finished it will follow up quickly after that.

Hehe, thanks!
I made some more efficiency improvements as well.

Yes was good fun, but i wanted to show something 'quick' so i didn't spend to much time on designing things etc..
And it was hard enough to make any sence with the video's i had.
I really need my own 360video set.

I am curious.
Is the playback speed on new ipads and iphone 6 acceptable?
I only have old ipad and iphone 4 (no ios 8 :-/

Ok i ask again..
I asked already on different places.
I asked for some content, but also i asked for feedback on behaviour and if it is quick enough on newer ipads etc..
One reaction i have..
For me it is not all about the hotspots only.
Next to the fact that the concept is really very usable for very much features and concepts in 360 content, i don't understand why there is no feedback at all, even not when i ask kindly.

So:
I would like to hear what you find how it works.. Is it smooth enough?
Would you like see a version without the hotspots so you can compare ?
As i don't see any multiple node tours for 360video on ios yet i suppose people have problems or are to busy with oculus stuff ?

Hi Tuur, dont give up on us man we want this to work as the concept is awesome.

ok I have tried it on 2 platforms I have

Windows 7 - broadband running about 6mbps

Result - I am not getting any video and I am only seeing hotspots moving around on a black background.

Ipad Vs 7.1.2

Result - I am getting video but no hotspots moving around, but if I drag the movie left or right I can see hotspots hovering underneath.

Maybe its a kind of Z order thing.

In a months time I will be in a position to produce 360 video so hopefully I can help test it better for you and me :)

Hi,

Glad at least somebody answers.
Of course you need ios 8 for ipad to see it work.
I tested on 3 old ipads and it works as it should directly at first visit.. but my hope is that it is a bit smoother on newer ipads.
On mac desktop it also works good in safari and chrome.
I'll have a look on windows when i can bring it up.
You should for sure wait until you see the poster of the video before you start. Some times it takes long sometimes not..no clue.
Also in the default example.
I suppose it has somthing to do with how the video is rendered?
But i need more and worldwide confirmation.
EDIT + SORRY!

Hi Tuur, just tested it in Chrome and it works a treat :)

IE11 not and FF not but I think that is the non compatibility for WebGL.

My Ipad Is iOS 8.1 and I am getting video but no hotspots moving around, but if I drag the movie left or right I can see hotspots hovering underneath.

I would love this to work as my imagination is working overtime with the posibilities that this presents to us.

I hope others can contribute and together we can keep our dreams alive.
