I did the update, with one tour made with 1.17.2 version, then Replace the new files, including new plugins on the server, clean the cache, but when I right click on desktop tells me is 1.17.2, locally shows me 1.18 . On Ipad contextextual menu does not work, and displays: Error: too old gyro krpano plugin-version

Hi,

when the viewer still shows an other version number, then the viewer
wasn't updated - the reasons could be either an old version in the
browser or cache or problems during uploading.

But For me your link is already working correctly, that means either your cache wasn't cleared or you have already updated and uploaded everything correctly...

Was there a change to the way it supports RTMP video streaming? The older version of Krpano works fine for RTMP, but using the same settings I cannot get it to work with 1.18 - I noticed you mention RTMP support in the documentation as well so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Yes, there is a known problem here - this will be fixed soon in version 1.18.1.

initvars error?

Hi

I have error in initvars embending parametrs . My parser show me error:
embedpano({..., initvars:{mypath="./panos1/"} });

I changed to:
embedpano({..., initvars:{mypath:"./panos1/"} });

and no errors...
Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Sorry, using ':' is correct of course - the '=' is a typo in the documentation (just corrected).

That's are basically normal Javascript objects with 'property:value' pairs:

Can you put a sample of playbackrate html video , we test and cannot do. And second question is, will it containt 0.6 0.7 or 0.05 etc?

Find problem, html5=always we used but if we not delete videoplayer.swf file it not show. I think there is a simple bug in here. (not call videoplayer.js file if not delete videoplayer.swf file)

The playbackrate is a setting of HTML5 video - krpano only passes the setting. How it will work depends on the browser.

Sorry, not sure what you mean...
Btw - html5=always should be only used for internal testing!

With 1.18 the performance of your dubai video is 10x that of a basic webgl version on an ipad2

well i just did something like...

video = document.getElementById("videoElement");
gl.bindTexture(gl.TEXTURE_2D, shpereTexture);
gl.texImage2D(gl.TEXTURE_2D, 0, gl.RGB, gl.RGB, gl.UNSIGNED_BYTE, video);

where sphereTexture is applied to a sphere mesh


it runs a less than 1 fps, but your player runs at 10 fps

How do we get error messages going on this version?

Ideally if there isn`t a Webgl or Flash version - a massage appears prompting the user to simply open the MP4 file.

You could detect this case in the xml and then link (via openurl) to the MP4 file.
Or just use the default zoomable flat view for the video for this case.

In the release note of the 1.18.2 I see the fix about autorotate.tofov. In my case when using kmakemultires 1.18.2 - 64bit (build 2014-12-18) on Chrome and IE 10.0.92 the tofov does not work. The same action (autorotate) on pano in 1.18 works.

I use the basic autorotate parameters:

waittime="10.0"
speed="6.0"
horizon="-12.0"
tofov="60.0"
/>


Am I missing some default setting? I don't see any difference on Options plugin between 1.18 and 1.18.2.
