In AIR 1.5 and Flash Player 10, the maximum size for a BitmapData object is 8,191 pixels in width or height, and the total number of pixels cannot exceed 16,777,215 pixels. (So, if a BitmapData object is 8,191 pixels wide, it can only be 2,048 pixels high.) In Flash Player 9 and earlier and AIR 1.1 and earlier, the limitation is 2,880 pixels in height and 2,880 in width.

it is very expensive.... but then this one guy hv DIY the whole concept (i believe) since 2004 ... this is his webblog how he do it...

but it should be possible to overcome this limits, but I'm not sure if the flashplayer could
play/decode such large videos
do you have short examples of such high resolution videos?
cubical faces for videos would be possible too,
but this will come later (the video support is planned for 1.0.9 release)
I can supply you a test video in that size, I have been running some tests with it myself or well just started, I have however run into a little problem in that regard. I use Premiere and Media Encoder. I am not able to export any bigger video then 1920x1080 if I use the FLV format, other similar formats have limitations as well. I am rendering out a 1920x960 video right now to test out. I am more then willing to send any material to you for testing. I have tried with 720p video and its a complete computer killer.Hi,
currently the videosize is limited by the internal Flash bitmap size,
in Flash 9 2880x2880, in Flash 10 up to 8191x2048,
here a quote from the adobe
