gradient

Hi,

was there a way to set a gradient for the background color of textfield or container by code?
Or do i remember wrong?

No, but I did request it here.
textfield/container inner shadow/negative shadow linear gradient support

Looks like html5, has the potential to look a lot nicer than flash.

So far, the essential feature I'm missing is 3d sound for html5 devices that support volume change. Otherwise, it's just better to leave flash behind.

Hi,

currently this is not possible.
It might be added, but then probably only for HTML5, trying to simulate the HTML5 image gradients also in Flash might be laborious and slow in rendering...

A kind of gradient shading could be already achieved (in HTML5) by using the bgshadow setting with the 'inset' style and larger blur and spread values:
