chrome jumping to flash with html5= prefer

Hi, does anyone knows why chrome version 40 would choose flash even if the html5 variable is set to prefer ?

I'm thinking it can be due to hardware issues, but not sure.. *confused*

Hi,

that could happen when Chrome wouldn't support WebGL on your system and that could happen due black-listed GPU drivers.

Check the - chrome://gpu/ - page for details and try updating your GPU drivers.

that computer is not mine, so I cannot test it, it must be really old in order to get black-listed GPU drivers, isn't it ?
My project is making black tiles in the pano with prefer+css3d

Hi,

the Chrome CSS3D support can be pretty buggy (depending on the Chrome version and system) - therefore krpano prefers to use Flash when no WebGL is available on Chrome.

If a GPU driver will be blacklisted by Chrome depends on Chrome - this can effect old and new drivers.
