no, the hotspots are the same position - what is different is the flat pano handling.
When image.hfov is lower than 1.0, then the pano will be interpreted as flat pano in the HTML5 version - and a flat pano is currently internally handled/rendered always with hfov=1.0 and vfov=depending on aspect ratio.
That means the flat pano size/scaling is different, the hotspots are the same.
That problem was already reported by your college Gérald and is already on my list.
A way to avoid this problem for the moment would to use hfov=1.0 for flat panos.
