Howto generate top/bottom image content to convert 360x(<180) images to 360x180?

Hi all,

is it possible to use the krpanotools to convert (for example):

- an image width:3000, height: 2000 (so not 360x180, not 2:1)
- to an image width:2000, height: 1000 (now 360x180, 2:1), where black pixels are added to top/bottom

?

I currently use imagemagick for that, but while reading http://krpano.com/tools/kmaketiles I was not sure if the krpanotools already provide that.

I also could state my original problem:

1) Can I convert a 360x(<180) image to cube-faces with black top/bottom pixels?
2) Can I convert a w(<360)xh(<180) to a 360x180 image, given a target width?

Cheers

Hi,
1) Can I convert a 360x(<180) image to cube-faces with black top/bottom pixels?
Yes, just use the 'Convert SPHERE to CUBE' droplet. It will also accept partial panos and fill the remaining space with black pixels.

2) Can I convert a w(<360)xh(<180) to a 360x180 image, given a target width?
Adding a padding or border is not possible using the krpano tools.

Best regards,
Klaus

Great. That helped me. It works.

Ok. No problem. That I can somehow do with other tools like ImageMagick.

Thanks.
