decoding error

Hello
I'm getting an error in which a server cannot decode a tile.
"decoding of ...failed"

I've replaced the tile and the error persists. It does not occur from another copy of the project on my desktop (mac) or from my own commercial server.

Any suggestions welcome

Can you post a link? Can you view the tile by going directly to it?
In other words, www.somesite.com/zoo.tiles/tilename.jpg ? To verify the quality of the tile?

decoding the error

Thanks Jerridja
Yes I could see the tile & open it in photoshop. But without understanding the problem I've solved or bypassed it by uploading a another copy from another server.
I am interested if there is some meta-information that might have been corrupted...

Hi,

in this case the jpeg was corrupted/not complete,
the file must to be 100% okay that flash accepts it (some browsers will also display corrupted images)

I think the only situation where a file can get corrupt is while uploading,

best regards,
Klaus
