MakeVTour Multires Question

I have been dropping 360° panos and flat panos in MakeVTour Multires, and I'm pleased with the results. The command window asks what it should do with the flat pano.
How does the droplet determine what is a flat pano? I noticed that if a flat pano has a 2:1 ratio, then it gets treated like a 360°, and the command window does not ask for user input. Naturally the results in this case are bad.
Maybe I'm doing a crazy thing, but having 360° and 180° panos in the same tour is useful.
Thanks.

Hi,

currently when using panotype=auto it works that way:

- when the input image has a 2:1 aspect ratio, the tools are assuming that this is a 360x180 pano
- in all other cases the tools are asking the user for the pano type

Best regards,
Klaus

Thank you!

What are the other available settings for panotype=? "default" or "manual" ?
Thanks for your help.

UPDATE
I didn't see at first that you had a link in your response. I just read the available settings.
I thought maybe there would be a "manual" setting...so it would ask for user input for each pano.
I guess that's not available.

Thanks.

Hi,

currently that's not possible, but I'm working on bringing the droplet functionality into the krpano Tools GUI, then these settings can be adjusted directly via the GUI.

Best regards,
Klaus

Wow, thanks!
I wish I had just a bit of your coding skills.
