I use autorotate because it gives a novice user the wow factor right away. I generally set horizon="0.0", and tofov="100".
If I zoom in/out, or pan or tilt, it all works fine, but when I stop, it takes a long time to get to my h and fov position settings. Is there a way to have the "recovery" time shortened? That is, to get to h=0 and tofov=100 very quickly, then the speed setting (in my case ="4.0") would take over? I have waittime="1.0".
Also, I've tried setting accel="1.0", and ="500.0" , and I can't notice any difference in performance.
Setting accel to a < 1 value slows it down a lot. Does setting accel > 1 have any effect?
Thank you.
