Is it normal for hotspots and layers (with keep="true") to briefly disappear when loading a new scene? (v1.19.3)

Is it normal for a hotspot to briefly disappear when loading a new scene, even though they have keep="true" ?

I'm using a nadir hotspot with the client's logo to hide the tripod, but when a new pano is loaded it disappears... and you can see the tripod :(

I'm using this code, from Klaus: Locked Nadir logo The nadir logo is added only to the first scene and has keep="true".

you can create a hotspot nadir is not within the tag of the first scene, but the total for all Scenes
it would be best to see your code

I think you have done right
Unfortunately, I can not tell you exactly what is wrong, because I do not use default skin package
pls see my example special for you, xml file - all work fine

Thanks!

I tried your code and I encountered the same problem.

There's probably something wrong with the default skin.

Hi,

there is bug in the current 1.19 pre-releases - when there is no <scene> the hotspots will be invisible.

For the next release this is already fixed.

Best regards,
Klaus

Hi Klaus,

Could the bug be within the default skin? Because hotspots and layers, which have keep="true", briefly disappear in my example while loading a new pano, but not in the example provided by Taurus, which is not using a skin ?

Hi,

the default skin is without <scene> element and therefore affected by this bug.

The bug is an internal state about the blending that was set wrongly before the first loadscene() call - and therefore the rendering part thinks that hotspots should be still invisible.

For the next release this is already fixed.

Best regards,
Klaus
