How do you prevent floating hotspots in VR mode (KRP 1.19)

Hotspots in my pano seem to be floating closer than the background in VR mode (cardboard viewer). How do I fix this? The hotspots must appear flush with the underlying pano for an animation effect to work.

I assumed setting the hotspot depth would handle this but can't figure out how to make it work. What does "default=1000" mean exactly. How can I use that to compute the correct number? Changing it affects scaling in normal mode and it needs to be pixel perfect in all cases. BTW, I've also tried setting image.stereo="false" to no effect.

To see the problem check this fireworks demo. At least in a cardboard viewer the fireworks are too close and scaled too large. Registration is perfect in non VR mode.

Hi,

the next release will provide a depth="off" possibility for this case.
Then the hotspot will be rendered as it is a part of the pano image itself.

Best regards,
Klaus

Thanks Klaus. Anxiously awaiting that.

Could you (or anyone else) provide a more "in depth" explanation of what depth is for and how to use it at some point?
