Looking for a free program to convert my Extreme fisheye photos/videos for VR?

Hey guys, I recently bought a Kogeto Dot and took its Extreme fisheye lense to use with my mobius camera so that i could record 360x180 degree video on my RC Plane. It works, however, I didn't think about the fact that I'm going to need some kind of program to turn these wierd looking videos into a panoramic video that can be used in youtube and also with a google cardboard. So what im asking is if anybody knows of such a program (the cheaper the better)? I don't know if Krpano can do this but even if it can its a bit expensive and also, I would like to be able to experiment with different programs.
Thank you.

Hello astroadrian99
I had a couple of solutions for your query, however it would be helpful if you could post a sample video to check it.

just use PTgui and create an equirectangular projection with this image alone... you will get half of the image in black...
everpano.com step beyond 360

Hi,

the new krpano version can show fisheye videos directly without converting.

Source code

1
2
3
<image>
  <fisheye url="plugin:video" fov="180" align="..." crop="..." lenscp="..." />
</image>

See here:
http://krpano.com/docu/xml/#image.fisheye.fov

For perfectly straighten and aligning the fisheye image, use PTGUI first once to get the image parameters (the fov, the cropping and the lens parameters).

Best regards,
Klaus
