krpano in Joomla 1.5

Hey Klaus,

I'm trying to add a virtual tour to my Joomla site at http://www.circutour.com. I'm using a plugin called "All Videos" to imbed a swf. So far no luck as you can see. :evil: Any suggestions? Do you have experience with Joomla at all?

Thanks :)

i haven't worked w/ krpano or joomla, but i have gotten FPP working with wordpress by specifying absolute URLs for all swfs, image files, plugins, etc in the XML and page code -

like hxxp://yoursite.com/pano/pano.swf, not just /pano.swf

many find the easiest way to get this up and running is an iframe, i've set up more elaborate systems on the sites in my sig with lightwindow overlays, etc -

pano in jooma

ceeby,

I'm running J1.5 and have integrated the panos...

I use jumi to insert a php script (that embeds the pano using swfobject 2.1) within content

pm or email me and I'll get you more details.

Hi,

sorry, I don't have any joomla experiences,
is there are a possibility to set the "pano" parameter for the full xml path?
I think if you set the full path to the xml it should work...

apart from that I recommend a javascript based method for embedding (http://krpano.com/docu/html/)
(or a Iframe with a javascript based page )

best regards,
Klaus

Hello,

The resolution I found was:

Create an index.html and embed Krpano using javascript (http://www.krpano.com/docu/html)

Than log in to Joomla control panel and deactivate WYSIWYG Editor ( No Editor )

Than create an article and place the following html

<div align="center">

<iframe width="720" height="450" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" align="middle" src="http://www.virtualsv.com/XXXXXXXXXXXX/"></iframe>

</div>

Example: http://www.virtualsv.com/index.php?optio…mples&Itemid=65

Hope this helps *thumbsup*

And that should work perfectly!

great work!
it loads the html without problems.
The only issue i have to solve is the fact that the menu does not appear.
I load the html with a width of 400 and height of 230 and i want the user to be able to click on full screen button .
However the whole menu does not appear at all. Is there any suggestion?
Thank you in advance! ;-)
