Build a Tour with the Ricoh Theta

Hi,
since Ricoh Theta have possibility to get pano images with GPS/GIS coordinate is it possible to get automatic virtual tour with hot spots and possitions on map, for example something like Google Street View...walking on street and get 10 pano images every 5m and to automate in krpano to get virtualn tour with hot spots and walk through all panoramas like on Google Street View?
Kind Regards,Elva

That is possible, taking in care that you know lat ,long and heading, if you shoot images with constant distance. but of course you would need some code to generate the hotspots ...

Well, I find on youtube that Ricoh Theta set for every panoramic image lat/long coordinate and I find this solution for Pano2VR - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=torOlGBwUm8 and since Im using krpano would like to have something like this and if someone know how to do this I will appreciate a lot?

Best,
Elva

From what I see in the video, the data of lat long is not precise enough for making the full process automatic, so the tool would need a manual process at the end. The levelling tool its very interesting.

I agree it would be an interesting tool to have, I remeber someone did something like this somewhere in the forum, I m not sure if it was finished and public.

I have plugin for this with droplet for automatic tour creation. Tested also adding map points on the map and decided not to include it as if you have to small distances and many images map is crowded and take time for Krpano to add all map points.

Thanks.
One important remark: All images have to be "normalized" meaning ath="0" is exact north. Some systems when stitching can export this automatically, otherwise this is to be done sphere by sphere manualy.

Thx for info. I perfomred test with sticthed images from several different devices and saw that in some cases heading in provided but images not normalized automatically and just want to make sure that solution I use with real GPS data and bearings we need to have all normalized.
