How to save VR setup settings on the device?

...so that each tour is viewed with the same settings. What's the code? Where to put it? Can somebody help please?

PS. Yes, I have read the manual about the attributes and the actions, still it's unclear where to put, when to save it, when to load it and how.

The webvr.xml is already using these functions, but it depends on the browser-security if they will work also cross-domain.
