hotspot depth, tx, ty and tz ?

i have a 2nd question regarding hotspots....

i found this thread: 3D Depth needed for layers and hotspots.
and after testing it seems that you can move the hotspot in 3d space with the depth, tx/ty and tz values

is this stuff experimental? not thought to be used?
i didnt find it anywhere in the docs, but depth is used in the actual vtourskin.

it would be nice to get an overview about the relations between ath, atv, ox, oy, depth, tx, ty, tz, rx, ry, and rz :)
is depth = tz? tx = ox ? ty = oy?

Hello friends!

I also try to understand how it works tx/y/z, ox/y/z, depth in krpano 3D space.
Maybe someone has a visual doc or example to understand this?

tx, but there is just about a note of the existence of these values...

no further info about it to find :/

specially the rotation rx,ry,rz is a bit of a mistery

see my other thread about this here:
hotspot distortion - get correct rx, ry, and rz values

Here a little ry rotation example.

I also have a little editor for this, but i think it is kind of 'easy' to make it yourself as well.

Hope it helps.

and then rotate it around its axis!

(see imgur link in the last post of my thread)

if you can do that, i send you a ten-pack :)

Hi, Klaus!

Any update on tx. ty, tz documentation? I started some testing today and cannot understand what's the correct usage of these settings.

Alexey

Okay, it seems that tx and ty are VR equivalents of ox and oy and tz is similar to 'depth' setting.

Alexey

Hi,

sorry, still had no time for detailed documentation.

All I could offer for the moment is this:
http://krpano.com/docu/xml/#hotspot.tx

Basically these values will be simply added to the internal 3d position of the hotspot after all kind of other hotspot rotations and translations...

Best regards,
Klaus
