Ok, here it is (for now):
http://iolar.nl/vt/test/inside_normal2.html

It's the big black 'thing' in the background. Well, you'll see. The xml is also there: inside_normal2.xml and actions.xml.

I looked at it. Didn't find the answer.
However, your krpano version was INFO: krpano 1.0.8.14 (build 2011-11-22.
You shouldn't really ask support for any version of krpano unless it's current. There's no telling whether there is a bug, or if the attributes I'm trying to use even existed in the version you are using.

In this case install the beta version, and if it still doesn't work, then let me know.

Hi
i have test exemple with the red car but i have a pb
hotspot.width = 583 *
1000 / 1900 = 306.842105

hotspot.height = 332 * 1000 / 1900 = 174.736842

hotspot.ox = 662 * 1000 / 1900 - 500 = -172.631578 but the result is = -151,578947368

hotspot.oy = 941 * 1000 / 1900 - 500 = -4.736842

Hi,

it's 622 and not 662 in the example

and yes it works for all cube sizes (but you need to put the correct cube size in the calculation of course)

btw - haven't you seen the link to the newer tutorial here:
Example/Tutorial - Extract a Distorted Hotspot from any kind of Pano Image (with perfect pixel alignment)

best regards,
Klaus

Hi,
it's possible to make this with video ?
when using the krpano videoplayer plugin - yes, of course.
For 'usage-perspective' there is no difference between a normal image and a video.

Best regards,
Klaus

Hi Klaus,

i have test with a video but is not perfect
www.numrec.fr/images/stories/dev/maurice/maurice.html
is works because my video is small
the video is very dificulte to make it because the perspective of the video is different from the perspective of the pano
i make pano i shot 3 photos and i make cubic pano and the front face cubic pano is deformed (prespective)
when i shoot video is not deformed perspective then is very dificulte to make video in pano
how do I make the video so that it has the same perspective as that of the cubic Photo

Works well! Thank you!

Hi,

Thank you Klaus for the tutorial! It works splendidly on the tour I was working on for my apartment in South Korea.

I had to fiddle with the z-order a bit due to overlapping hotspots, but it works. I can open and close my door!

Also check out the lightswitch. :-)

Hi,

I'd like to use this solution but I don't know how to add the hotpoint for the area ?

Do you use the "tour_editor.html" file ?

If Yes, can you tell how to proceed ?

If No, how do you add the differents hotpoints ?

Thanks for your help. *smile*

I know Klaus said this is under development but just wondering if there were any news regarding this (aligned distorted hotspot) being able to use while in VR mode? Thanks.

Kind regards,

Jay.

That's already possible - just add depth="off" to the <hotspot>.
