Tool tip always visible will remove hotspot viewing in webVR mode

Hi,

I tried this code from the thread.

replace the current 'skin_hotspotstyle' code in the vtourskin.xml

<style name="skin_hotspotstyle" url="vtourskin_hotspot.png" scale="0.5" edge="top" oy="0" distorted="false"
tooltip=""
onclick="if(linkedscene, skin_hidetooltips(); tween(scale,0.25,0.5); tween(oy,-20,0.5); tween(alpha,0,0.5); looktohotspot(); loadscene(get(linkedscene),null,MERGE,BLEND(1)); skin_updatescroll(); );"
onloaded="add_all_the_time_tooltip();"
/>

<action name="add_all_the_time_tooltip">
txtadd(tooltipname, 'tooltip_', get(name));
addplugin(get(tooltipname));
txtadd(plugin[get(tooltipname)].parent, 'hotspot[', get(name), ']');
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].url,'%SWFPATH%/plugins/textfield.swf');
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].align,top);
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].edge,bottom);
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].x,0);
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].y,0);
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].width,200);
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].autoheight,true);
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].background,false);
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].border,false);
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].css,'text-align:center; color:#FFFFFF; font-family:Arial; font-weight:bold; font-size:16px;');
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].textshadow,1);
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].textshadowrange,6.0);
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].textshadowangle,90);
copy(plugin[get(tooltipname)].html,scene[get(linkedscene)].title);
set(plugin[get(tooltipname)].enabled,false);
</action>

But the hotspots will dissappear when webVR is initiated on mobile. Any clues what is causing this? *confused*
Thanks

Hi,

in WebVR mode only WebGL content is visible - and currently only the pano itself and image/video-hotspots are rendered by WebGL.

Best regards,
Klaus

Is there any way to make the hotspots not disappear but instead render them without text in VR mode? So make the text appearance conditional based on whether you are in VR mode or not?

It's kind of weird they disappear entirely and we really would like to have them in both mode - the best thing would be to have them with text in both modes (VR and Non-VR mode) but I understand that this is not yet possible....

Hotspot Name Tag Label Text Plugin

hi. i made a plugin that puts the hotspot's-name under every hotspot as a textfield automatically.
like the tooltip is visible always an clickable if you want to.
textfield can be edited of course.
simple integration.
works also in VR and smartphone, or touch devices.
DEMO_TOUR_EXAMPLE
would that help you? or do you need something else?
