drag scale/rotate hotspots in editor

I'm having problems dragging the hotspots to rotate, distort rotate.

When I click and hold one of r, space,d nothing happens when I drag. Sometime there might be a little bit of very jerky movement but that is it. Scale works ok, with shift or ctrl but none of the others?

Is this a stupid question?

Has everyone else managed to get this to work Ok or am I expecting it to work when it doesn't?

i had that happen to me also. then outta nowhere it started working. but i can plainly remember being pissed off as hell that things were not working the way they should have. all i can say is make sure you are using the latest krpano.swf and then make sure you are using the editor .swf for that version plugin. other than that i can feel your pain but cannot say what to do to fix it.

You forgot the part about needing to sit with your right leg under you and yoru left leg at a 45 deg angle and you should be tapping your foot to the beat of "Yellow Submarine"... *tongue*

Sorry - but other than what VN2009 said... no ideas on my part.

Check the versions and let us know if it starts working... if not, we'll need to know more about your structure and code to confirm what's happening... or a link if it's online.

Cheers Grayon & VN2009,

I've checked and double checked the versions, they are both the latest ones and it can't be the code - it's just the basic plugin call.

Here's the example I'm working on -

For the most part the hotspot editor worked for me. (I was trying to edit the photo in the living room)

I turned off the autorotate for convenience.

I did notice some oddities though...

1. Sometimes when scaling the hotspot and scaling it smaller... even when I released the key... it just kept scaling to nothing.
2. When I was using the distorted key, the hotspot would still rotate / spin around an axis
3. Every now and then after making some change the hotspot would just "jump" back to a plain 2d type of view.

I'll admit it was frustrating for a first go around.

Sorry to say I can't repeat the exact issues you were having.

Hopefully Klaus can add some comments.

Cheers Graydon,

I'm still having the same problem, holding the buttons and dragging have no effect and even now are crashing the browser.

This is latest firefox on XP SP2.

Klaus?

Hi,

Definatly, without doubt the 1.08 beta 8 versions.

Does it matter that I'm using a laptop and a touchpad rather than a mouse?

That post has a link to the download section with the beta 8 version right?

I've downloaded those files, replaced the ones I have an no change.

Are there any tours on the internet with the latest editor I can check there?

That one doesn't work either. I've deleted the cache and tried again (but I do this a lot anyway to check web developments)

Must be a bug.

I'm on a laptop with a touchpad, would that make any difference? Running xp.

Got the latest version of Flash also.

Right - it's my laptop. I've tried on someone elses running vista and it's fine. Not sure what could be causing it?

I tried it out using my touchpad (vista) and it works. It's difficult, but it worked.

Wonder if there's some touchpad driver issue?
