Small useful help

Hi guys,

when I was making a couple of panos, I missed having the current values for pan, tilt and fov easily available. So I just wrote a simple plugin to display these values in a small square in the pano. This makes it much easier to set the view values for each scene.

All you have to do is to include the small xml file and add the execution of the show_pos() action to your onviewchange event:

Quellcode

1
2
3
4
5
    <include url="pano_pos.xml" />

    <events
   	 onviewchange="show_pos()"
    />

Plugin file: http://wirestam.com/panos/files/pano_pos.xml

Test page: http://wirestam.com/panos/test/home_tour2/

Tommy

Thank you, panomaster,

yes, I confess - I have a past in the FPP forum. But I guess that's all forgiven now... ;-)

Hi,

yes, these tools are very convenient.
Your code could be a bit more efficient/modern though. ;-)

here is my version
http://www.virtualtuur.com/krpano/numbers/1/

http://www.virtualtuur.com/krpano/numbers/1/numbers.xml

just include the numbers.xml in your project.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot Tuur,

this is the kind of help a beginner needs! *smile*

I of course suspected someone had done this a long time ago, but I couldn't find anything on the site. I will study your code and learn...

Greetings,
Tommy
